THE WOMAN BEHIND MSKNOWLEDGE
I didn't build MsKnowledge because life was easy. I built it because I refused to let the hardest chapters of my life become the final chapter of my story. Every setback, every closed door, every moment I questioned my own worth eventually became the foundation for something greater than I could have imagined.
For years, I navigated Corporate America as a Black woman in leadership. I experienced what it felt like to be underestimated, overlooked, and expected to work twice as hard while receiving half the recognition. I learned how often women are encouraged to shrink themselves to make others comfortable, to stay quiet instead of speaking truth, and to be grateful for opportunities that were never designed for them to thrive. Those experiences tested me, but they also taught me resilience, leadership, and the importance of knowing my value long before anyone else recognized it.
When that chapter came to an end, I had a decision to make. I could allow someone else's opinion of my worth to define my future, or I could build something that reflected who I truly am. I chose to bet on myself.
That decision led me into entrepreneurship. I wrote Denied, Doubted, Delivered because I knew my story wasn't mine alone. Then I stepped into an entirely different world by creating my own body oils and perfume oils. I researched ingredients, tested countless formulas, designed labels, built my website, invested my own money, attended vendor events, and learned every lesson that comes with building a business from the ground up. Those products were never just about fragrance. They represented confidence, presence, healing, softness, ambition, and the courage to create something with my own hands.
As my business continued to grow, so did my understanding of my purpose. I realized I wasn't simply creating products. I was creating opportunities for conversations, education, and transformation. Every experience, whether it came from the boardroom, behind a vendor table, or through writing my book, was preparing me for something much bigger than I could see at the time.
Today, MsKnowledge Official is the result of every lesson I've lived. Through Career Elevation, Root Authority™, my writing, speaking engagements, educational content, and the communities I'm building, my mission is to help people recognize their value, lead with confidence, embrace growth, and build lives they don't need permission to pursue. While my body and perfume oil collections are coming to a close, they will always be part of this journey. They taught me what it means to create, to persevere, and to believe in a vision before anyone else could see it.
I don't believe our experiences happen to define us. I believe they happen to prepare us. Every challenge I've faced has become knowledge I can share, every obstacle has become a lesson I can teach, and every victory has become proof that growth is possible when you're willing to keep showing up for yourself.

WHY I CREATED THIS
MsKnowledge was created for women learning how to stop apologizing for taking up space.
For the women rebuilding themselves after being overlooked.
For the women learning that softness does not make them weak.
For the women carrying leadership, healing, ambition, confidence, and pain all at the same time.
I wanted to create more than products.
I wanted to create identity.
Every collection was designed to represent presence, self-worth, luxury, confidence, and the power that comes from fully becoming yourself without shrinking for the comfort of others.
This brand stands for healing loudly. Leading unapologetically. And remembering that luxury is not only what you wear it’s how you carry yourself when you finally know your value.
